The first screen asks “What should we make?”
This screen opens without any sign-up.
Write the app you want in one sentence.

Write it the way you normally talk. You can also speak into the mic.
A box asks for the app name, and the answer is “주말 산행”.
From the suggested features, pick trailhead favorites and a packing checklist.
AI suggests features worth adding. Picking them is up to you.
This part is sped up for the ad. In the original recording, it took 1 min 19 sec to finish.
This step uses 1 token. The first time you build, a window asks you to agree to the Terms of Service and the notice about sending data to AI. If it fails because of a server problem, you get the token back.
On the card that says “Created 주말 산행!”, tap Open app.
Your app opens inside BYVE AI.
First, check the weather for Saturday and Sunday. Save the trailhead you’re heading to as a favorite, and tick off the packing list one item at a time.
Features like the camera, location and microphone ask your permission before use.
Changes are asked for in the chat too. It uses 1 token and took 1 min 2 sec in the original recording.

Your apps and the records you enter are saved on your phone. Deleted apps stay in the trash for 7 days.

If you’re not sure what to make, tap a category example and start from there. When you write your own idea, just say it the way you’d tell a friend, and AI suggests features worth adding. You can also speak into the mic instead of typing.
Real apps that use your phone
Your apps can use phone features like the camera, QR code scanning, text recognition in photos, speech to text and read-aloud, maps, reminders, opening Excel and PDF files, weather, and YouTube playback. Each one asks your permission first.

Most apps open in about a minute. There’s nothing to publish or install: open it right inside BYVE AI, and put the ones you use often on your home screen.
Change it just by saying so
No need to start over. Say what you want changed in the chat and the same app gets updated. The version before each change is kept as a backup, so you can go back.
Your apps stay on your phone
The apps you make and the records you enter are saved on your phone, and apps you’ve already made run without internet. You can keep them in Google Drive as a .byve file or move them to a new phone.

- What is vibe coding?
- Vibe coding means making an app by describing what you want in plain words instead of writing code. In BYVE AI, you describe it in a chat on your phone, with no PC or developer tools, and AI builds the app and runs it right away. Think of it as making an app with AI, no coding needed.
- What kinds of apps can I make?
- You can make tools that fit you, like to-do lists, budgets, habit and workout logs, vocabulary cards and quizzes, receipt text readers, shop inventory and sales logs, staff check-in logs, and mini games. Your apps can also use phone features like the camera, maps, and reminders.
- Which phones does it work on?
- It works on Android 8.0 or later, and on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17.0 or later.
- Do I need to sign up?
- There’s no sign-up and no login.
- How do I get and use tokens?
- You get 2 tokens when you first install, and each new app or change uses 1. If you run low, you can watch an ad on My Page to get 1 more, up to 3 every 24 hours. If a build fails because of a server problem, you get the token back. Your balance is tied to the device you installed on, so it’s gone if you uninstall the app. There are no in-app purchases.
- How long does it take to make an app?
- Usually about a minute, and a few minutes for more complex apps. You can use other apps while it builds, and if notifications are on, you’ll get one when it’s done.
- Are there apps it can’t make?
- It can’t make apps that many people use together, like a shared message board or chat between users. That’s because each app’s data is saved only on that phone, and there’s no server connecting people. It’s also not a tool for making apps to publish on an app store. Requests for real money transfers, payment processing, stock orders, medical diagnosis or medication dose calculations are declined.
- Where are my apps and data stored?
- The apps you make and the records you enter in them are saved on your phone. When you build or change an app, your request and the app’s current code go through the BYVE AI server to an outside AI service. A recovery copy of the finished result stays on the server for up to 24 hours, and build requests and token history are kept for 365 days. You’ll find the details in our Privacy Policy.
- Can I use it without internet?
- Apps you’ve already made open without internet. You need a connection to build or change an app, and to use features that fetch outside information, like maps and weather.
- Can I go back to how it was before a change?
- The state before each change is kept as a backup, up to 5 per app and 30 in total. You can also keep the original and use Save as to try out a new feature on a copy.
- Can I move my apps to a new phone?
- Export a .byve file and import it on your new phone.
- How should I describe the app to get what I want?
- Say what you put in and what should come out. For example: “Make a café Wi-Fi QR app. I just enter the Wi-Fi name and password, and it shows the QR code.”
- Is BYVE AI related to other services with similar names?
- BYVE AI is pronounced “vibe AI” and is made by By My Side Labs. It isn’t related to other companies’ services with similar names.
- Do I have to publish my app on an app store?
- You don’t need to publish anything. Your apps open inside BYVE AI, and you can add a shortcut to your home screen. Tapping the shortcut also opens the app inside BYVE AI.
- Can I keep developing my app with another AI?
- Tap Send to another AI on the finished card to copy the app’s code, its name and your requests (if it’s large, it’s handed over as a file). Paste it into another AI chat and keep developing there. Records you saved while using the app aren’t included. Personal information typed directly into the code isn’t removed, so check before you send it.
- Can my apps use phone features like the camera or location?
- Your apps can only use the features BYVE AI allows, and some features ask for confirmation before they’re used. For texts and email, only the compose screen opens. You have to tap send yourself.
- Are the people and voices in the ads real?
- It’s the same as the note under the video above. The people are staged for the ad, and the screen is a recording of the app actually being built and changed.
- Can I add a shortcut to my home screen?
- Yes. Open the app, tap Menu at the top right, then Add to Home screen. A shortcut appears on your home screen, and tapping it opens BYVE AI straight into that app.
- Does the app open as soon as it is created?
- Right now the chat shows an Open app button when creation finishes. Tap it once to open the app; it does not open by itself. For apps you use often, add a home screen shortcut so you can open them in one tap.
- Can I build an APK file and install it on another phone?
- For now apps open inside BYVE AI, and you can export a .byve file to load on another phone. Building an APK is something we are preparing in a way that stays within Google Play policy. We cannot promise it for certain, but we are doing our best.
- What should I do if something goes wrong while building?
- If an edit is not what you wanted, tap Menu at the top right of the app and choose Undo the last edit to go back to the previous state. If that does not help, tell us via My Page > Support > Contact us, and include the Install ID and Recent request ID shown in My Page > Support info so we can check faster.
