Make a crowbar lever force calculator app with one sentence

This example is from the Sint Maarten ad video. A stonemason fixing a yard’s stone wall in Philipsburg only had a rough feel for how hard to push when lifting big rocks with a crowbar, and made a calculator app.

First prompt

Make an app for my crowbar, I put the weight of the rock in kg, the short side and the long side in cm, and it shows how hard I push
App name
Bar Push
Suggested features picked before building
Formula, History

In the original recording, it took about 1 min 7 sec to build.

The app it made

  • Entering 120, 30, and 150 showed “Estimated push force 24 kgf · 235.36 N · about 20% of rock weight.” The numbers are sample values for filming.
  • Each calculation is saved automatically, so it became “History (1).” A lever diagram was included by default too.

Change request

Add a line with the push if the long side is 200 cm

After the change

  • A new line appeared in the result: “With a 200 cm long side: 18 kgf push.”

In the original recording, the change took about 36 sec.

When reopened

Save, close, and open it again, and both calculations are still in “History (2).”

Try writing it like this for a similar app

  • Make a lever calculator. When I enter an object’s weight and the length from the pivot to each end, show the force needed to push down.
  • Compare the force needed in a table as I change the lever length.
  • Save the results to a history, and show where the pivot is in a diagram.

These are sample prompts, not real cases. What you get depends on what you ask for.

How to make it

  1. Type the app you want in one sentence in the box on the home screen.
  2. Answer “Give your app a name.” with the name you want.
  3. From the features BYVE AI suggests, pick only the ones you want.
  4. Tap “Build for 1 token” to build the app, then tap “Open app” to use it right away.
  5. Write what you want to change in the chat, and the same app gets updated. A change also uses 1 token.

Good to know

  • Each new app or change uses 1 token. You get 2 tokens when you first install, and you can get up to 3 more every 24 hours by watching ads. There are no in-app purchases.
  • The apps you make and what you enter are saved on your phone, and apps you’ve already made open without internet. Features that fetch outside information, like weather and maps, need internet.
  • It works on Android 8.0 or later and iOS 17.0 or later, and there’s no sign-up.
