First prompt
Make a branching story tester. Let me write scenes, connect choice buttons to other scenes, and play from the start. Keep my scenes when I close it.
- App name
- Your Turn
The app it made
- In the first scene, “The library,” she wrote “The library is closing. A folded note is tucked inside your sketchbook.” Then she made two more scenes, “The drawing” and “At the desk.”
- She added two choices to the first scene, linking “Open the note” to “The drawing” and “Ask at the desk” to “At the desk.”
- In “Play from start,” tapping “Open the note” moved to “The drawing” scene and showed “The end of this branch.”
Change request
Show the choices I have made in order under Your path. Clear this trail when I restart. Keep my scenes and their links.
After the change
- “Your path” appeared under the reading screen. Choosing “Open the note” left “1. Open the note” there.
- Tapping “Restart” cleared the path back to “Your choices will appear here.” This time she chose “Ask at the desk” and read through to the other ending, “At the desk.”
When reopened
Save, close, and open it again, and the 3 scenes and 2 choices are still there.
Try writing it like this for a similar app
- Make a branching story app. Let me write scenes, link choice buttons to other scenes, and read it from the start.
- Let me attach one photo to each scene.
- Mark the endings I’ve read, and tell me how many endings I haven’t seen yet.
These are sample prompts, not real cases. What you get depends on what you ask for.
How to make it
- Type the app you want in one sentence in the box on the home screen.
- Answer “Give your app a name.” with the name you want.
- From the features BYVE AI suggests, pick only the ones you want.
- Tap “Build for 1 token” to build the app, then tap “Open app” to use it right away.
- Write what you want to change in the chat, and the same app gets updated. A change also uses 1 token.
Good to know
- Each new app or change uses 1 token. You get 2 tokens when you first install, and you can get up to 3 more every 24 hours by watching ads. There are no in-app purchases.
- The apps you make and what you enter are saved on your phone, and apps you’ve already made open without internet. Features that fetch outside information, like weather and maps, need internet.
- It works on Android 8.0 or later and iOS 17.0 or later, and there’s no sign-up.
