Make a quadratic equation solver app with one sentence

First prompt

Make an app for math homework, I put a, b and c of a quadratic equation, and it shows the two answers for x, just the numbers, no graph

App name

Root Check

Suggested features picked before building

Steps, History

In the original recording, it took about 1 min 18 sec to build.

The app it made

• Entering 1, 7, and 10 and tapping “Calculate roots” showed “The two values of x: x₁ −5 · x₂ −2.”
• Each calculation is saved automatically to “History” as “x² +7x +10 = 0 · x₁ = −5 · x₂ = −2.”

Change request

Add a line with the lowest value of y

After the change

• A new “Lowest value of y −2.25” box appeared under the two roots.

In the original recording, the change took about 32 sec.

When reopened

Save, close, and open it again, and “History” still has 2 entries.

Try writing it like this for a similar app

• Enter a, b, and c of a quadratic equation, and show the two roots and the discriminant.
• Enter two linear equations, and solve for x and y.
• Keep the problems I solved in a history, and let me check off the ones I got right.

These are sample prompts, not real cases. What you get depends on what you ask for.

How to make it

1. Type the app you want in one sentence in the box on the home screen.
2. Answer “Give your app a name.” with the name you want.
3. From the features BYVE AI suggests, pick only the ones you want.
4. Tap “Build for 1 token” to build the app, then tap “Open app” to use it right away.
5. Write what you want to change in the chat, and the same app gets updated. A change also uses 1 token.

Good to know

• Each new app or change uses 1 token. You get 2 tokens when you first install, and you can get up to 3 more every 24 hours by watching ads. There are no in-app purchases.
• The apps you make and what you enter are saved on your phone, and apps you’ve already made open without internet. Features that fetch outside information, like weather and maps, need internet.
• It works on Android 8.0 or later and iOS 17.0 or later, and there’s no sign-up.
