Make an electric circuit practice app with one sentence

This example is from the South Africa ad video. A 22-year-old student teacher, who found that a drawn circuit diagram alone didn’t explain things well, made a circuit app to show bulbs turning on and off as you tap the switches yourself.

First prompt

Make a simple circuit app with a battery, two bulbs and two switches in one series loop. Tap either switch to open or close it. Show which bulbs are on.
App name
Circuit Click

The app it made

  • At first, both switches were open and the bulbs were off. Closing both switches turned both bulbs on.
  • Opening one switch again turned both bulbs off together, and closing it turned both back on.

Change request

Add a Series or Parallel option. In Parallel, give each bulb its own switch and branch. Keep the switch positions when I change modes.

After the change

  • “Series” and “Parallel” buttons appeared. But the first parallel diagram after the change didn’t look right, with wires that looked broken, so three more changes were requested to fix the circuit diagram. The result in the video is the screen after that.
  • In parallel, opening switch 1 turned off only that bulb while the other stayed on, and it showed “Parallel circuit · 1 of 2 bulbs is on.” Switching to series kept the switch positions as they were.

Try writing it like this for a similar app

  • Make a series circuit practice app. Draw a battery, bulbs, and switches, and turn the bulbs on and off when I tap a switch.
  • Show a parallel circuit too, and tell me which bulb goes off each time I tap a switch.
  • Each time the circuit changes, show a short explanation below of why.

These are sample prompts, not real cases. What you get depends on what you ask for.

How to make it

  1. Type the app you want in one sentence in the box on the home screen.
  2. Answer “Give your app a name.” with the name you want.
  3. From the features BYVE AI suggests, pick only the ones you want.
  4. Tap “Build for 1 token” to build the app, then tap “Open app” to use it right away.
  5. Write what you want to change in the chat, and the same app gets updated. A change also uses 1 token.

Good to know

  • Each new app or change uses 1 token. You get 2 tokens when you first install, and you can get up to 3 more every 24 hours by watching ads. There are no in-app purchases.
  • The apps you make and what you enter are saved on your phone, and apps you’ve already made open without internet. Features that fetch outside information, like weather and maps, need internet.
  • It works on Android 8.0 or later and iOS 17.0 or later, and there’s no sign-up.
